The Wall by The Brilliance
You were there through the fire
You were there through it all
Never leaving or forsaking
You were there through it all
Brought me out from the ashes
Brought me out to become
A mighty wall for Your people
May Your love make us strong
We are called for a purpose
We are called to become
A mighty wall for Your people
Binding us as one
Be a wall for your daughters
Be a wall for your sons
Heaven come down among us
Let Your will be done
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
Be a wall for your daughters
Be a wall for your sons
Heaven come down among us
Let Your will be done
Be a wall for your daughters
Be a wall for your sons
Heaven come down among us
Let Your will be done
Heaven come down among us
Let Your will be done
I believe without Christ and the church community we are not to our full potential as human beings. I know for me personally my church community has nurtured and held me tight in times of despair. My church community has become this family of sorts, with people I can go to when I need help. However, often times we as young people feel alone and don’t realize there are people who are willing to walk with you on this journey of figuring out who you are. In reality the scariest thing is the first step when you are asking for help. Since we don’t know the reaction we are going to get from our church community. We prepare ourselves for the worst, when instead or what I hope for, we get a compassionate response back. The love we receive from others, God, and most importantly ourselves makes us strong especially during our times of weakness!
We are called for a purpose! Yes, you! We are called to become a mighty wall for Your people binding us as one!
As Christians we are called to be a wall of action for others. For some people we are the only face of Christ and or the only church someone sees.
How will you be the face of the church and Christ as we go through our daily lives?
